Educational Qualification
Intermediate Trained Assistant Teacher – Class 1 to 5
Candidates must have any one of the prescribed qualifications, such as:
- 10+2 with 50% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed.
- 10+2 with 45% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed. as per NCTE Regulations, 2002.
- 10+2 with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed.
- 10+2 with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
- Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed.
Candidates must also have passed JTET for Classes 1–5.
Jharkhand residents who have qualified CTET or a neighbouring state’s TET may also apply, subject to the conditions regarding passing JTET within the prescribed period.
Graduate Trained Assistant Teacher – Class 6 to 8
For the Class 6–8 posts, candidates may qualify through any one of the prescribed routes, including:
- Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed.
- Graduation/PG with 50% marks + B.Ed.
- Graduation with 45% marks + B.Ed. as per NCTE norms.
- 10+2 with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed./B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed. in Special Education.
- PG with 55% marks + 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
Candidates must also have passed JTET for Classes 6–8.
Jharkhand residents qualified in CTET or a neighbouring state’s TET may apply subject to the prescribed JTET conditions.
